What These Lengths Include

4 Meters (Standard): Suitable for a complete shalwar kameez suit for average height (up to 5'10" / 178cm). Includes fabric for kameez (approx. 2.5-2.7 meters) and shalwar (approx. 1.3-1.5 meters).

4.5 Meters (Cotton): Extended length for cotton fabrics — ideal for taller individuals or those who prefer a more relaxed, flowing fit. Cotton requires slightly more fabric for optimal drape and comfort.
Why extra length for cotton?
Cotton fabrics are 100% natural and may experience minimal shrinkage after washing. The additional 0.5 meter ensures your tailored suit maintains the perfect fit even after multiple washes.
Tailoring Recommendations
For best results, we recommend:
- Wash the fabric before tailoring (for cotton variants)
- Consult your tailor for precise measurements based on your body type
- Standard cutting length works for most body types up to 5'10"
- For taller individuals (above 5'10"), we recommend requesting additional length
Note: These are standard industry measurements. Slight variations may occur due to fabric weave and shrinkage after first wash (especially for 100% cotton).
